I made a hello kitty column for 3 years old birthday party. The family love Hawaii and I made it on palm tree. Her sister got jealous that kitty is for a younger sister. I should have put 2 for them. Happy birthday M-chan!!

Group Birthday Party for 2 years old
Hungry Caterpillar arch
We made Hungry Caterpillar arch on Sunday for 1 year old girl’s birthday party. We decorated some foods in the pole bellow. Can you notice the column which has 1 on top? It starts an egg on bottom and start growing and eating foods inside of “1” and become a butterfly balloon in the end. Isn’t cute?
We had Thank you email from her mother that their family and friends had fun in the party. Especially, the column was impressed that meaning. Happy birthday M!!

4th Annual International Night
Saturday, May 16, 2015, 4-7pm – FREE
Our biggest event of the year!
In 2012 we celebrated “Around the World” with the seven continents. In 2013 our “Global Celebrations” highlighted 4 traditional holidays from across the globe. In 2014 we held a “World Fair” with global food, dance, art, music, games and activities.
Last year’s event brought more than 750 attendees to our small school as current and prospective McDonald families gathered together to celebrate our diverse community and showcase our school’s global perspectives.
McDonald International School’s biggest annual event is now in its 4th year.
It’s a pure celebration — of our school, our teachers and students, our entire community — with great food, activities, games, live music, and performances from our students, parents, teachers, and generous local professionals who donate their time and talents.
This year, rather than have a potluck (those tables take up so much room!) we’ve invited food trucks. Yes, FOOD TRUCKS!!
This year’s theme is The Elements! Join us for a Celebration under the Sun, in the Water, on the Earth, and in the Wind.
When: Saturday, May 16th, 4-7pm
Where: McDonald International School
Cost: FREE
2015 Theme: The Elements!
- Gym – The Sun/ El Sol/太陽 Dances by several classes, international costumes and photo booth, and world dance party.
- Cafeteria – The Earth/ La Tierra / 地球 Henna tattoos, performances by local/international music groups and McDonald Int’l students, and tables for eating.
- West Playcourt – The Water/El Agua/ 水 Ramune (Japanese Soda) and Horchata (Central American drink) fundraiser, plus carnival games.
- East Playcourt – The Wind/ El Viento/風 Make a windsock in celebration of Japan’s Children’s day, and performances to keep those at the food trucks entertained.
Mother’s Day Flower bouquet with bubble balloon
I made a flower bouquet with Bubble balloon. The bubble balloon is stretchy plastic balloon and latex free. It is good for a person have latex allergy though I made it with latex balloons at this time. Of course, we can make latex free bouquet. There are lots of variety design and they are so cute!!
